Who we are:
The Ridgefield Art Gallery is a project under the umbrella of the Ridgefield Art Association (RAA), a Non-Profit 501(c)3, dedicated to promoting art in the community.
Starting in January of 2026 we will have ten members of the RAA exhibiting their original works monthly. Each month is a new and interesting theme picked specifically to compliment the work of one of our members.
Come see the new 2D and 3D work up close and browse our artists many prints and small batch 3D items.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a welcoming gathering space for both professional artists and art enthusiasts alike.
Ridgefield Art Gallery has been started to support a vibrant community of visual artists, to provide an opportunity to exhibit and sell regional fine art under a juried system, to enhance professional development among artists, and to benefit the community as a whole - adding to the growing art district presence in historic downtown Ridgefield.
The Ridgefield Art Association’s initial Art Gallery start-up team (from left to right): Kaylin Rose, Eva Kelley (Gallery Management Team Lead), Kathy Winters, Merrilee Asla-Lee, and Rose Jubb.

Inside the old hardware store (now remodeled) on the corner of Pioneer and Main Street. Ridgefield Floral & Gifts graciously shared their space with us.

An artist-run cooperative is one where the gallery’s monthly expenses are covered by gallery member dues, and the artists also man the gallery each day to eliminate labor costs.
-
Yes! But that is an easy hurdle. And if you’d like to apply before joining, feel free. You just need to be a member once you begin your time at the gallery as a member. You can live anywhere, but we recommend being close enough that you’re comfortable driving to Ridgefield for various events and so you can take full advantage of your membership.
-
An individual membership is just $30 for the year. If you have multiple artists in your household, it’s just $40 for the year. Click HERE to see the full benefits list.
This RAA membership fee does not ensure your participation in the gallery, nor does it cover the costs of being a gallery member. There are separate monthly dues once you are accepted and a small 10% commission on work sold. -
Fill out our application HERE and then join the RAA if you aren’t already a member. You can also choose to join the RAA after acceptance to the gallery, though current membership does help in the application process.

Your intial commitment is three months, with the option to continue month-to-month after that.
